The TTSA Education and Training program is a major tenet of our association. TTSA offers in-person and online courses as well as immersive, hands-on light, medium and heavy-duty training in which operators learn how to work safer and smarter on all calls. Through our extensive educational offering, Texas operators are taught the skills needed to keep themselves and the public safe.

Online Courses
TTSA’s online course satisfies the 4 hour continuing education requirement for tow truck drivers in Texas.
SHRP II Classes
SHRP II Classes also satisfy TDLR 4 hour requirements
Classroom Courses
The below courses are for CT, PP and IM Drivers. The first 4 hours of the 8hr course is for all, the second 4hrs is hands on and is for IM only.
8-Hour Light Duty Classes:
4hr or 8hr Classroom Class – This 8 hr class is the 1st year requirement for IM licenses.
Light Duty Pre-Registration Fees:
- Member: 8hr-$175
- Non-member: 8hr-$225
- Pay at class: 8hr-$225
